Have you been given a sewing machine and are not sure how to use it. Or do you just want to refresh your knowledge about the whys and the whats of the sewing machine itself. Bring your machine and lets get that baby running.

Let's Sew a Pillowcase-Not just for kids

Contrast banded pillow case with french seams.
Are your kids interested in learning how to sew with the sewing machine, but you don’t know where to start? This class is just for them! Students will learn about the tools of sewing and how to safely handle pins, scissors, iron and sewing machine. Students will practice “steering material” through the machine, threading the machine properly, construction, and finishing techniques.
We will learn to measure, cut or rip fabric to the right size, and press seams for a professional finish to create a contrast banded custom pillow that they’ll love.
Ages 7 and up.

Sewing Machine, universal needle for the sewing machine, thread, straight pins, scissors, bobbin, 3/4 yard quilting cotton (main body), 1/3 yard quilting cotton (large contrast cuff), 1/8 yard of quilting cotton (small contrast band) all yardage should be about 43 to 45 inches wide.
DIY Crayon Roll with Ursula

Come learn how to sew a crayon roll with Ursula. Rolls can be made to fit traditional crayons and/or block crayons. The best fabric for this project is corduroy or denim. Why not re-purpose old fabrics. Bring your sewing machine too.
Sewing Level 2 with Lauren Durr

Would you like to get more comfortable using your sewing machine? We’ll get you started with a basic pants pattern with a customized fit just for you! In this class you will use your measurements to draft pajama bottoms or draw string lounge pants. You’ll complete your design with seam finishes and hem. Tools needed: three yards of cotton fabric, tape measure, pins, thread, sewing machine, universal sewing machine needle size 70/10, ribbon, safety pin or bodkin. Students should have some introductory machine knowledge or taken “Getting to know your sewing machine” class.
Ages 15 to adult.
Felt Dragon
Learn how to sew your own Dragon out of felt.
