Winter Break-Kids Fiber Arts
(Ages 8–12) Give your child a creative winter break filled with color, texture, and hands-on fun. In this workshop, kids explore needle felting, wet felting, weaving, and hand sewing. They learn real skills, build confidence, and bring home unique handmade projects.

About The Event
We will explore the magic of felting and learn how soft wool, a little soapy water, and busy hands can turn into fabric. Felting is an ancient craft that people have used for thousands of years, which was useful and is now creative as well.
Kids will learn each step, from choosing the right wool to using soap and water to help the fibers stick together. We will practice laying out fluffy fibers, adding warm soapy water, and shaping everything with gentle pressure and movement.
We will talk about how temperature and friction help the wool change, and we will play with colors and simple patterns so everyone can add their own style.
By the end, each student will take home a one of a kind piece of felt and a new appreciation for making something with their own hands. It is a fun, hands-on journey into the world of…
