Jump into the world of Soft Sculpture Dollmaking and a lifetime of endless creativity. You’ll start by learning foundational techniques that will serve you well as your skill set grows and grows. This Beginners’ class will involve sewing, stuffing, drawing, and sculpting a lovely cotton head; once you make the head, you won’t be able to look into the doll’s eyes without wanting to learn how to make a body that can hold it up high!

Basic machine sewing skills required.

I recommend bringing your sewing machine to sew the head, but if you don’t have a machine, you can sew the head by hand: it will take longer and require smaller stitches, but it can be done!
