Day of the Dead Altars

Participants will create a Day of the Dead Altar to remember and honor loved ones. Participants will learn the traditions and symbolism of the elements that make-up the altars while creating a personalized altar.

Instructions will include decorating a cigar box with paint, paper, and lots of embellishments.

Participants will provide personal items and photographs that celebrate the deceased.

Altars are a way to remember loved ones regardless of religious beliefs.
