When things get tough, the tough get sewing!
As you are well aware all business' deemed unnecessary are closed. With that said, we have kept busy by making masks for healthcare providers. We began sewing 4
weeks ago when the first call for masks came for Northridge Hospital. We also provided masks for Kaiser in Woodland Hills, Valley Pres. in Van Nuys, Ralphs in West Hills and continue to assist. We call ourselves the Facemask Fairies and most materials have been donated by quilters and seamstresses.
Want to make your own? Here are some patterns we have tried. It's been hard sourcing elastic so it's possible to make your own bias tape. This is a great way to use up a fabric stash. T-shirts are great for making the "ties"
