Beginning Water Marbling (Ebru) on silk fabric scarves

In this beginner's workshop, we will walk you through the basic tools and techniques of traditional and contemporary marbling with acrylic paint on thickened water substrates, creating unique and beautiful patterning on silk scarves.

This will be the first in a series of workshops in which we will also introduce marbling on various materials and explore creative ways to incorporate them into collages, quilting, objects, etc. Please be advised there are no refunds for this workshop.

We had so much fun painting silk scarves in our beginning workshop and familiarizing attendees with the basics of this cool artform, we are coming back for more!

We hope you will join us again OR for the first time to enjoy this fun and beautiful process. In our second workshop, we will explore marbling techniques on various materials.

All materials will be provided. Each attendee will have the 2 silk scarves to paint and take with them. We will also have prepared cotton material and watercolor paper, if preferred.
